Property Description

Remarks: One of the most well kept and beautiful settings any home could offer. Single level living on 10+ picturesque acres. Utterly perfect views from the back deck into the valley. Mix of trees in the front and meadow to the south. There is an attached garage as well as a separate shop with a loading room and RV covered storage. The Acreage is mostly level and may have the very valuable possibility of being Split! The home has a nice open floor plan, hardwood floors with large bedrooms, plenty of closet space. The large kitchen has been updated, the view out the kitchen sink window couldn't be any more ''Montana''. From the living room to the views filled sunroom every inch of this house is impeccable!! This could truly be a 'Forever Home' that blends into the setting and area with splendid ease All the amenities just keep coming with new renovations that include a spa tub and beautifully crafted bathrooms. All new appliances including super quiet dishwasher and pristine granite work surfaces. Two if the best features of this home is the new on demand hot water system and the home is wired for high speed internet. And the very best part of all is a Large, recently updated deck great for outdoor living during the warmer months.
All of this is un such a fantastic area that encompasses
The 9 Mile and 6 mile Valley's as one of the most scenic locations in the greater Missoula area. Thousands of acres of National Forest lie on both sides and at the end of the valley. Old logging roads and mountain trails, along with dozens of tributaries are spread throughout the area. All kinds of wildlife can be seen in abundance. The historic Forest Service Remount Station is located in the valley. The U.S.F.S. keeps a large number of horses and mules there to service wilderness areas that do not allow motorized vehicles. There is also a small museum and some of the original U.S.F.S. buildings located there. The small town of Alberton, Montana lies 7+/- miles West of the subject property. Frenchtown, Montana with a grocery store, restaurants and other businesses, as well as, an 18-hole golf course. A K-12 school is considered one of the finest anywhere. Frenchtown is 6 mi. E. of the subject property.

This is a beautiful, fairly undeveloped, area that has a relatively mild climate and lies amid vast areas of National Forest. There are few areas of Missoula, and the lower Clark Fork Valley towards Plains, MT that have the most temperate climate in the State, often described as "as mild as it can be and still have all 4 seasons". This area has excellent access to Missoula via I-90 and the Missoula International Airport, which is 2 miles west of Missoula. The Clark Fork River provides many recreational opportunities, as do the numerous streams and countless acres of surrounding National Forest.

Flathead Lake, 70 miles north, Glacier Park, 135 miles northeast and a chain of beautiful lakes and countless mountain lakes & streams in every direction allow for great related recreation and sight-seeing. There are a large number of ski areas to enjoy in a day's outing with the closet, Montana Snowbowl, just 12 miles north of Missoula. Home to the University of Montana, Missoula is the cultural and regional trade center for almost all of Western Montana and provides many educational, cultural and sporting events for area residents.

A small-town friendly atmosphere with the services of a much larger town and an International Airport, make Missoula one of the nicest places to live or have immediately available. The area west around Huson-Frenchtown is one of the best extensions of this remarkable town.
